Go-Grader Tray
The Arde Tray Grader grades trays into total labeled bins based on fixed count, fixed weight, or a combination of both.
Fixed Count Mode
In fixed count sorting mode, channels are filled to a set number of pieces. When the target number is reached, the next
channel will begin filling and the operator can accept the batch and print a label for the batch. Alternatively, the operator
can cancel the batch and use the reorder feature if necessary.
Fixed Weight Mode
In fixed weight sorting mode, a weighing price labeler – or other input device such as a barcode scanner – captures the weight,
price, and package information and transmits it to the grader. The Tray Grader then directs each package to one of its channels
based on its weight. Each channel collate the packages to achieve the optimized target bin weight.
Fixed Count and Weight
The Tray Grader allocates a specific number of packages to
each channel while selecting channels by weight to achieve
optimized target bin weights. If a package does not meet the
requirements of any of the channels, it is directed to the optional
sorting lane.
